NAHM worked with the Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST) for over nine years to help them construct a nursing home on OST reservation land in Whiteclay, Nebraska. The facility is named Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home OSLNH). The facility began admitted residents in October, 2016. Please visit the website oslnh.com for more information about the new facility.
NAHM is now providing day-to-day management for the OSLNH facility. Past services include:
- Working with State and Federal entities to attain an enhanced Medicaid reimbursement rate for the facility;
- Taking the lead in the regulatory process including Licensure and Certification communicating with both Federal and State entities;
- Assisting OSLNH with ongoing communication with lender entities; and
- Planning for operations and management of the Long-Term care facility.
The Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home is located south of Whiteclay, Nebraska. We are a 60 bed nursing facility owned by the Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home, Inc., and managed by Native American Health Management (NAHM).
